Every surrogacy journey is unique, but they all have something in common: they bring together people from different lives, different experiences, and different roles to welcome one child into the world.
Along the way, there are decisions to make, relationships to nurture, emotions to navigate, and a birth experience that deserves more than simply making it to the finish line.
Whether you're working with an agency, building an independent journey, or somewhere in between, our role is to complement the support you already have and provide the guidance, education, and perspective that help everyone feel informed, connected, and aligned.
At Flourishing Families, our work is shaped by both professional expertise and personal experience. We understand surrogacy from multiple perspectives, and we're passionate about helping intended parents, surrogates, and their support teams navigate this journey with confidence, clarity, and care.
Our greatest hope is that when the day finally arrives, you'll be able to set aside the logistics, the questions, and the uncertainty—and simply be present for one of the most meaningful moments of your life.
Lindsey Taylor believes the moments that shape us most were never meant to be navigated alone.
As a birth professional, educator, speaker, two-time surrogate, and co-owner of Flourishing Families, she supports individuals and families through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, surrogacy, and other life-changing transitions. Known for her grounded presence and honest approach, Lindsey combines evidence-informed education with genuine human connection, helping people feel informed, confident, and supported as they navigate some of life's most meaningful moments.
Her work is shaped not only by years of professional experience, but also by her own journey through motherhood, business, loss, rebuilding, and personal transformation. Those experiences have deepened her compassion for the complexity people carry and strengthened her belief that meaningful support begins with listening well, staying curious, and meeting people where they are.
Lindsey believes expertise matters, but people deserve more than information alone. They deserve thoughtful guidance, practical support, and someone who creates the space for them to make informed decisions with confidence. Through Flourishing Families, she is helping redefine what support can look like: deeply human, evidence-informed, and rooted in the belief that no one should have to navigate life's biggest transitions alone.

As a mother of two boys and a one-time surrogate, Laura understands the incredible trust, connection, and care that define the surrogacy journey. Her firsthand experience inspired a passion for helping intended parents and surrogates feel informed, supported, and connected as they prepare for one of life's most meaningful moments.
Following her surrogacy journey, Laura continued supporting growing families through an extraordinary breastfeeding commitment—providing breast milk for three intended parents and their newborns, while also donating more than 8,000 ounces of breast milk to a nonprofit milk bank serving premature and medically fragile infants. Her dedication to supporting families extends well beyond birth and reflects the heart behind everything she does.
As Co-Owner of Flourishing Families, Laura specializes in the technical and operational side of the program, creating a seamless experience for every family. Being a mother to 14 children and a grandmother to 21 has given Pauline a front-row seat to the beauty, complexity, and sacredness of birth and motherhood. She has personally walked through nearly every type of birth, including birth center, home, hospital, water birth, cesarean, VBAC, NICU, and induction. These experiences have given her not only a wealth of knowledge but also a deep well of empathy for the women she serves.
With over 29 years of experience supporting families as a doula, IBCLC, and licensed midwife, Pauline has learned that no two births are the same—and no two mothers are either. Her own journey includes graduating from the National Midwifery Institute (NMI) and holding midwifery licenses across California, Florida, and Alabama. Throughout her education and career, she has been incredibly fortunate to train under the wisdom of many elder midwives who taught her the true art of traditional midwifery, alongside an OB-GYN who eventually became her trusted business partner. This unique blend of deep, community-based wisdom and collaborative medical expertise shapes everything she does.
Pauline believes what unites every journey is the need to be truly seen, heard, and supported with dignity, tenderness, and trust. Her approach is deeply holistic, supporting families physically, emotionally, and spiritually as they move through one of life's most powerful transformations. It is her greatest joy and honor to be invited into these life-changing moments, and she holds that trust with deep respect and gratitude.
